NO BEAN CHILI TACO DIP
Fantastic three-layer dip that is quick and very easy to make, and best of
all, it is always so well-received, just like most Mexican-style dips which are
usually crowd pleasers. Serve with celery sticks and other veggies or pork rinds, cheese chips or low-carb crackers.
8 oz regular cream cheese, softened (250 g)
1/3
cup sour cream (75 mL)
1 tsp minced garlic (5 mL)
(I used the kind in a jar)
25 oz can No Bean Chili (709 g)
2/3
cup grated Cheddar cheese (150 mL)
1/2
cup grated Mozzarella cheese (125 mL)
In
food processor or blender, process cream cheese, sour cream and garlic. Spread mixture in bottom of 9-inch (23 cm)
pie dish. Top with No Bean Chili and
then the Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses.
Cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time. Nuke 3 minutes in microwave oven on high, or
until hot. Serve with celery sticks and
other veggies or pork rinds, cheese chips or low-carb crackers.
Helpful Hint: You can use Mexican blend cheese, if desired, instead of the cheeses suggested. It is all I had on hand.
