Very simple, quick green bean dish that is sure to please as it is a little more special than serving up plain green beans, although my husband definitely does not mind the latter either.  Good carbs!

6 cups cooked green beans (1.5 L)
8 oz cream cheese (250 g)
3 tbsp whipping cream (45 mL)
1 tsp crushed garlic (5 mL)
3/4 tsp salt (3 mL)
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese (250 mL)
5 slices bacon, cooked and cut into pieces

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In medium bowl, place cooked green beans.  In food processor, process cream cheese, whipping cream, garlic and salt.  Stir cream cheese mixture into green beans.  In an 8-inch (20 cm) square casserole dish, place green bean mixture.  Cover with grated Cheddar cheese and scatter cooked bacon over top.  Bake 20 minutes or until green beans are tender.
